A Letter recommending Andrew Adam as Precentor

Paisley 18th August, 1867.

I have great pleasure in bearing testimony to the musical abilities of Mr Andrew Adam. He is possessor of a First Class Tenor Voice, reads music fluently, and is in every way qualified both to lead and teach a Congregation the Theory and practice of Music. I have no hesitation in saying that with a little practice he should be one of the leading Precentors in the West, judging from his Natural abilities.
